Over 40 years of business experience from accounting, banking, funds management, research and investment advising, have given me a comprehensive background for providing professional investment advice for clients. Over the past four decades, Bruce has experienced many market cycles in Australia and globally, across both debt and equity markets.

Starting as a Chartered Accountant, he spent six years auditing companies which ranged from large public and subsidiaries of US companies, through to smaller private family businesses, including work overseas. This provided a solid base in understanding the preparation of financial reports and analysing the business strategy of both strong and weak companies. This was followed by six years in corporate banking.

Bruce began work in the equity markets three weeks after the major market correction, in November 1987. Early roles included equity analysis of listed companies and presenting original research to institutional and retail investors. Bruce also worked at Colonial Investments in portfolio management and moved to what is now Morgan Stanley in 1999.

Bruce is currently a senior investment adviser with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. He uses this broad business experience to benefit the management and objectives of client portfolios.
