Clients want a relationship with an adviser that listens to them, understands their needs and cares about them personally. Investment returns are necessary, but not sufficient without trust.

I focus considerable time and effort on getting to know my clients. I know what’s important to them and I genuinely care about helping them achieve their financial goals. It’s the only way to ensure that I am delivering the advice and outcomes they need, and it’s also the most rewarding aspect of my role.
Whether it is clients that have worked with me for more than a decade or those starting their journey with me, seeing them progress towards their goals is what inspires me.

I am well-versed in the complexities of financial strategy and portfolio construction through the completion of a Masters in Applied Finance, followed by the Certified Financial Planner CFP® qualification and 15 years providing holistic wealth management advice in Australia to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families.

I have completed Foundations of Directorship through the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Level 2 Award in Wines with WSET and Collaborative Practice training through MELCA.

I combine this expansive skillset with a focus on building quality personal relationships with clients. Having joined Morgan Stanley in 2022, my desire to bring world class solutions to clients is now possible with access to the institutional level infrastructure and global resources that I feel my clients deserve.

Working With You

The relationships I have with my clients are the reason I am an adviser. I feel it’s important to connect on a personal level and I’m proud to say my clients and I enjoy our time together. It’s more than a simple commercial transaction.

I provide a completely personalised service. I’m able to offer that level of customisation because I know my clients and what’s important to them. I provide them with access to a full suite of wealth management capability and tailor my service to be as simple or as sophisticated as the client desires.

Experience

I have spent more than 16 years working in the financial services industry. I initially spent nine years at Perpetual Private building the foundation of my approach to advice. I then spent over two years building my client base at Pitcher Partners, culminating with a promotion to Director in 2021. More recently, I have moved to Morgan Stanley to continue my career and offer my clients access to the resources of a truly global firm.

Investment Philosophy

I approach the task of portfolio construction with a number of core principles in mind. These principles form the foundation for my discussions with clients as we look to build a portfolio which is tailored to their needs.
• It’s important to have adequate cash on hand. Managing liquidity properly contributes to long-term performance and, importantly, increases client confidence in their investment strategy.
• The focus of the core of the portfolio should be carefully constructed to generate income and grow sustainably.
• With the right core in place, a smaller component can be allocated to areas of particular interest to the client. Typically, this means exposure to areas that the client is passionate about or has successfully invested in previously. Capital can be put at risk in these areas without impacting the core of the portfolio.

Education

I have a Masters of Applied Finance, am a Certified Financial Planner® and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. I am also a Justice of the Peace (Qualified) and a Tax (Financial) Adviser.
