My Story and Services
After completing my undergraduate degree in Social Sciences, I spent 12 years working for one of the global oil majors in Hong Kong, Sydney and Melbourne. As I progressed my way up in the oil industry, I increasingly felt pulled to a career in finance. Growing up in a major financial centre (Hong Kong), and from a family which is active in investing, I was always fascinated by the dynamic and practical aspects of a career in financial services.
With great determination, I decided to change direction, leaving my then senior position to take up an entry level position at a stockbroking firm. I understood that to progress further, I would need to further my knowledge and so I set about completing a Master’s of Applied Finance and a diploma of Financial Planning.
In the two decades since then, I’ve developed a strict investing ethos that addresses my clients’ needs for capital protection. My investing approach is focused on identifying potential upside while managing downside risk.
I combine my knowledge and decades of experience with the global resources of Morgan Stanley to address the needs of Asian and Australian high net worth individuals and families.
I’m proud to be recognised on Barron’s list of Australia’s Top Financial Advisers for six consecutive years since 2020.

My clients include senior executives, high net worth families, professionals, business entrepreneurs, self-funded retirees and Asian SIV (Significant Investor Visa) migrants.
I intentionally limit the number of clients that I work with. It’s important to me that I’m available to them and I’m able to dedicate time to their needs. I believe that truly understanding my clients’ underlying needs and motivations; what they are passionate about and what fulfils them; is critical to providing value over the long term.
A key focus for me is being there for clients when the market overshoots or undershoots. It is during times of market volatility that clients are tempted to make financial decisions which are not aligned with their long-term objectives and are not likely to provide the best outcomes. Supporting clients during periods of uncertainty is one of the most valuable services I provide.
To achieve the right balance between capital growth and capital protection, I take the time to understand my clients and what they are trying to achieve from both a personal and financial perspective.

I hold a Bachelor of Social Sciences (majoring in management studies), a Diploma of Financial Planning and a Master's of Applied Finance.
