THE HFP GROUP AT MORGAN STANLEY
The HFP Group brings together extensive investment experience, values of trust and integrity, intellectual capital, and personalised service to help clients navigate global and local investment markets, allowing them to have confidence in the safety and direction of their hard-earned capital.
Hamish Head, Doug Ferguson and Adrian Pizzingrilli, along with their Associates, Harriet Garmonsway and Vanessa Nguyen, work together to deliver Morgan Stanley's global resources and capabilities to help you grow and protect your wealth.
Working together for the past 12 years, we have developed complimentary skills sets and experiences, and hold a shared set of values built on doing the right thing for clients.
As a team, we have three advisers that each share responsibility for servicing clients, while also bringing on new clients. Hamish has deep knowledge, connectivity and experience across capital markets, the firm and industry and in the Not for Profit sector. He also has a strong focus on strategic asset allocation and finding the right investment solutions to suit each client. Doug has a strong understanding of macroeconomic drivers behind markets. Adrian is expert in tactical implementation, structured products and execution.
Our clients are either successful executives or business owners who are running their business or have exited a business via trade sale, IPO or Private Equity who are not looking to take large risks as they wish to protect their capital and grow it well ahead of inflation. We are also proud to have a high number of Australian Not-for-Profit organisations and foundations as clients. We offer them a full end-to-end investment service, beginning with goals, risk and cash-flow analysis and an understanding what they want reflected in their investment strategy. We take these aims through to portfolio construction, investment selection, implementation and ongoing monitoring and adjusting to suit the market outlook and any changes in their circumstances. About Hamish Head
Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and E-Commerce), Bachelor of Arts (Psychology), and Masters of Applied Finance (Wealth Management and Investment Management). He has been Member of the Wealth Management Executive Committee, Chaired the Wealth Management Capital Market Committee, Founding Co-Chair of the MS Family Network and Member of the Firm’s Philanthropy Committee.

About Vanessa Nguyen
She also facilitates payments and trades, liaising with clients, advisors, and various departments to enable smooth flow of information and enhanced client experience. Vanessa was previously a wealth associate at Mutual Trust, servicing private clients and indigenous trusts.
Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Laws from Deakin University.
Vanessa is RG146 compliant in securities and managed investments.
About Harriet Garmonsway
Within our team Harriet plays a client-facing role assisting with client onboarding, account maintenance, portfolio reporting, as well as facilitating fund transfers and transaction/execution support.
Harriet holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Otago and a Certificate of Financial Advice from Massey University.
Harriet is RG146 compliant in securities and managed investments.
